Attorney Referral Network

Sometimes you may need ongoing legal help—more than what a one-time consultation can provide. That’s where QLaw Foundation’s Attorney Referral Network comes in.

We’ve built a statewide network of affirming, experienced, and 2SLGBTQIA+-competent attorneys to help individuals across Washington find the legal support they need.

Please note: We cannot guarantee that a referred attorney will be available or able to take your case. If we can’t match you with someone in our network, we will explore other referrals and resources.

How to get a referral

Frequently Asked Questions
Who are the attorneys in this network?2025-08-26T14:37:41-07:00

Attorney fees vary, but here are some common options:

  • Pro bono: No fee
  • Low bono: Reduced fee
  • Sliding scale: Fees based on your income
  • Flat fee: A set amount for specific services
  • Contingency fee: Attorney is paid a portion of your settlement (typically for personal injury or similar cases)
  • Standard fees: The attorney’s usual hourly rate

We do our best to consider your fee capacity when making referrals. However, you and the attorney will discuss and agree on all costs and terms directly.

Please note: Pro bono options are limited.

Does my legal issue have to relate to my 2SLGBTQIA+ identity?2025-08-26T14:37:36-07:00

No. We are here to support 2SLGBTQIA+ community members with any civil legal issue, whether or not it’s directly related to your identity.
