We use this to connect clients with attorneys who best match their legal and financial needs.Â
To maintain data security, volunteers inactive for 30+ days will have logins deactivated. You’re always welcome back, just reach out when you’re ready to return!Â
We ask all volunteers to:Â

- Treat clients with empathy and respect.Â
We have made sure to structure our programs to offer our volunteers flexibility and can sign up around their schedules. Â
Our legal clinics are held twice a month—1st Friday and 3rd Monday—with shifts between 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. Non-clinic support can be scheduled anytime during the week, usually within business hours.Â
Many of our volunteer attorneys are members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. They also receive specialized training on legal issues commonly faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, ensuring a supportive and affirming experience.Â
Yes! We are committed to making our services accessible.Â

Volunteer attorneys cannot:Â
- Represent you in courtÂ
- Help with criminal law (e.g., arrests, trials, warrants, charges, etc.)Â
- Provide help with non-legal matters (e.g., filling out benefits applications)Â
Each consultation lasts 30 minutes. In some cases, we may be able to offer longer appointments if needed.Â

- Support that’s trauma-informed and person-centered, to focus on what matters most to you. Â
- Help completing legal intake forms and understanding legal processes in clear, accessible language. Â
- Proactive communication and coordination between agencies and service providers- so you don’t have to do it alone. Â
- Accompaniment and advocacy during court proceedings, appointments, and other necessary meetings- because no one should have to face those moments alone. Â
- Guidance connecting community services and resources across Washington. Â
This is a short-term, voluntary program. You can connect via phone, text, email, video, or in-person. We offer flexible scheduling (including outside business hours). Most participants check in weekly or biweekly.Â
The Peer Navigator offers emotional support, rights education, and connections to trusted resources across a wide range of issues, including: Â
- Discrimination: emotional support, self-advocacy, rights educationÂ
- Employment: wage concerns, workplace rightsÂ
- Housing: tenant rights, safety planning, shelter referralsÂ
- Family: CPS, DV support, family separationÂ
- Immigration: stress, rights education, referralsÂ
- Healthcare Access: gender-affirming care, insurance navigationÂ
- Public Benefits: application/appeals assistanceÂ
- Disability: accommodations, accessibility supportÂ
- Education: student rights, bullying, IEP/504 navigationÂ
If you’re experiencing something that doesn’t fall into one of these categories, the Peer Navigator may still be able to help or refer you to a resource that’s a better fit.
