Many of our volunteer attorneys are members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. They also receive specialized training on legal issues commonly faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, ensuring a supportive and affirming experience.
Yes! We are committed to making our services accessible. We offer: Phone consultations (with other options available if needed) Interpreters for most languages, including ASL Disability accommodations Support for people without a safe space to talk Just let us know your needs when you fill out the Legal Support Request Form or contact us directly.
Volunteer attorneys cannot: Represent you in court Help with criminal law (e.g., arrests, trials, warrants, charges, etc.) Provide help with non-legal matters (e.g., filling out benefits applications)
Each consultation lasts 30 minutes. In some cases, we may be able to offer longer appointments if needed.
